Auditions & Rehearsals

Auditions for the 2023-2024 Season are now OPEN!

The New Jersey Chamber Singers are a spirited, supportive, and gifted group of folks who are committed to presenting poignant choral music. Members in NJCS are avid and skilled choral musicians who have a passion for singing and possess a keen sense of camaraderie for singing in an ensemble.

The audition process consists of two parts:

• Attend a Summer Sing event and/or attend a regular rehearsal. Prospective members will sing with NJCS for a full rehearsal.
• After rehearsal, you will sing vocal exercises led by the Artistic Director.
• (OPTIONAL) Sing any prepared song of your choosing, such as an art song, aria, folk song, or hymn. You may choose to do this to showcase your strengths as a solo musician.

Our first rehearsal this season is TUESDAY, SEPTEMBER 12th starting at 7:30pm.

Regular rehearsals are Tuesdays from 7:30 p.m. to 10 p.m. at All Saints Episcopal Church in Bay Head, NJ 08742 during the performing season (September through May).
